Tarun Nanda

Chief Executive Officer

Tarun Nanda leads the Univa Disability Services as the Chief Executive Officer.

He is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. He has built a career focused on achieving positive outcomes for people in these areas.

Tarun initially attended university to study a Diploma in Pharmacy. Following this, he moved to Australia to study Community Services at Adelaide University. He then relocated to Alice Springs, where he spent ten years working for both an NGO and the Northern Territory Government in roles such as case manager and supervisor within a complex forensic mental health disability unit. His experience also includes work in remote communities, including Finke, Santa Teresa, and the APY Lands.

Drawing on his background in forensic disability and behaviour support, Tarun has cultivated strong leadership and management abilities through his experience in the government sector. He is deeply committed to the values of positivity, respect, honesty, integrity, compassion, trustworthiness, and accountability.

In 2019, Tarun relocated to Darwin, where he assumed the role of Housing Coordinator and Team Leader, managing SIL homes for a well-established NDIS provider specialising in mental health and complex participant support. After several years in the NDIS sector and observing significant gaps in services for people with disabilities, he was inspired to launch his own NDIS company, United NT Disability Services, in 2020. The organisation continues to support participants across the Northern Territory to this day.

In 2025, Tarun relocated to South-Eastern Queensland with his family and has chosen to leverage his expertise by launching a new venture, Univa Disability Services.
