Krystal Tamati

Outreach Coordinator

Krystal Tamati is the Outreach Coordinator at Univa Disability Services, playing a key leadership role in supporting staff and participants. In this role, she oversees and supervises Support Workers, engages directly with participants and families, and builds strong relationships with community organisations and external stakeholders.

Since beginning her career in Disability Services in 2019, Krystal has worked with individuals with a diverse range of needs, including sensory challenges, vision and hearing impairments, physical mobility limitations, intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

As Outreach Coordinator, Krystal is responsible for overseeing the Community Access Disability Support team across multiple locations, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and in line with all legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements. She leads with empathy, integrity, and clear communication—motivating staff, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Growing up with a brother who is intellectually handicapped and autistic inspired Krystal’s lifelong passion for inclusion, respect, and empowerment. This personal connection continues to shape her mission to ensure that every individual feels valued, capable, and supported.

With over 15 years of experience in the Fitness Industry as a Trainer and Instructor, Krystal values the importance of staying active and maintaining overall wellbeing. Outside of work, she enjoys bushwalking, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with her family. As a proud parent of five, Krystal finds joy in life’s busy moments.
